Yuvabharathi encourages creative self-expression among the pupils by paving the way and setting the right platform. Music, dance, art, theatre and the like are given prominence. Art exhibition, cultural fests during ethnic days and music fest set the stage for the display of artistic excellence.

Music

Yuvabharathi has taken an initiative to teach music through an integrated approach. Using specialized trainers/instructors, a critically acclaimed syllabus and methodology that takes the best from Western Classical and Indian Classical Music. Applying the concepts of musical intelligence for early year cognitive development we give multi-genre exposure aided by multi-disciplinary thinking.

Theatre and Public Speaking

Today’s education is more bent on moulding and tailor making citizens who are employable but emotively mechanic. With their wings clipped off, and imaginations curtailed in a box, they fail to step out of the comfort zone to see the world from a different perspective. Dramatic playing is necessary for children’s empathy and self-control.

Yuvabharathi has planned to evolve the students under its wings, with nuances of this fine art of expression and communication. It has pioneered a programme to enhance Speech and Drama skills among children across Classes 1 to 9. It also stands as the first school in Coimbatore that undertakes the examination in Speech and Drama offered by the Trinity College, London. We offer training in Drama and Theatre too. The school conducts Public Speaking Workshops on continuous basis for high school students.
